BIO
Born in Naples in 1964, Capone began his musical career in the area of jazz. From 1982 to 1990, he was a member of the rock group 666 as a percussionist. He began his solo carrer as a singer afre the group broke up.
His first album Capone, mixed the Neapolitan tammurriata with African, Caribbean, and African Americna musical forms to address social issues such as racism and the ecology). He performed in a number of the centri sociali like Leonkavallo and Officina 99. He also contributed to different politically-minded musical iniatives: the CD Canta Napoli Antifascista, along with 99 Posse, E Zezi, Daniele Sepe, and others, and compliation Sotto Tiro in support of Amnesty International. Capone remains committed to the idea of autoproduzioni or self produced musical production.
