BIO
Irene La Medica is considered by many to be Italy's first R&B singer. Born in Milano, she was first heard on that city's Radio Capital program "Milangeles." She has collaborated with rapper Jovanotti, opening for his 1997 summer tour and signing with his record label Soleluna. On her two CDs, Irene has recorded with Italian rappers Chief, Donjoevanni, and Neffa. In 1998, she performed with Articolo 31 as part of Vibe magazine's celebration of "Fashion Week" in Milano.
