BIO
Born in 1972 in Mbuji-May to a Zairian mother and an Italian father, Rawl moved soon afterwards to the northern Italian city of Torino. It was there that he began rapping with other at the now legendary B-Boy hangout Regio.In 1989 he helped formed the Afrikan Outlaws, a group of Italians of color dedicated to HH. The group performed throughout Italy and released a mix, "Lirica Maggiore/Jerry Maslo" on the label Crime Squad. After a couple of years together, Rawl MC went solo.
After a sojourn in Philadelphia, Rawl returned to Torino to work with producer DJ Trizta, releasing the singles "Nudo & Crudo" with Sa Razza and "UndaFunk" in 1996. The following year, Rawl released his CD Solo di Notte. The CD featured the help of Dilu Miller, DJ Roby1 Kmobee, Maori B, Psico Killa, and Flaminio Maphia.
