Spero Manero is an MC from Rome who began his career in 1995 when he was 17. He has always indedtified with the East Coast sound. His first group was Flaminio Maphia composto, with G-Max, Pusha, and Rude MC, recording the hit "Restafestagangsta" in 1997. Sparo and Pusha left the groups soon afterwards. Sparo went on to collaborate Sr Raza and Gente Guasta (1999). He became a member of the Rome Zoo in 1997 but went solo two years later with the song "Canzoni" and the CD "Tutta Sostanza."
