Presepio 2001
Phase II — i had this idea.
I always imagined a New York City presepio, with the manger being based on a Puerto Rican-style castita de madera (little wood house) set in a community garden. So when I came across a model kit series of burned out buildings by Model Power out of "West Germany," I thought I'd give it a try. But when I put it together it was so tiny compared to the manger. I was thinking of making a presepio with a World Trade Center theme but it wasn't going to be.
