Phase III — Tora Bora redux
With the NYC presepio out of the picture, I'm going with an Afghan theme. I saw this stunning photo in the NY Times of a canyon in Tora Bora, so I tried to replicate it. Shoe boxes and crumpled newspaper are set for the papier-mâché. I've taped paper to the wall (some huge Derek Jeter poster that was in the house) for the painted sky and a lamp to the left for the dramatic effect.
