Detail D — the shepherdess & the synagogue
my poor attempt at duplicating a house depicted in a photo resulted in a building that looked more religious than domestic, so i made it a synagogue, referencing Jack Kugelmass's documentary film (1983) and book (1986) The Miracle of Intervale Avenue.
